Taos, New Mexico

So now I'm up in the mountains ... it's a beautiful area, I got here (The Abominable Snow Mansion Hostel) late last night - even with the help of crossing into Mountain Time and gaining an hour. It's a pity I can't stay ... have to be in Vegas Friday - so will try & take in the grand Canyon on the way ...

Hey Darryl!

Just checking up on your blog to see where the heck you are now these days! Too bad I did not read it sooner... you could have possibly made a pit stop in the grand state of Nebraska and Josi and I would have shown you the "good life" state... although there is not much here in comparison to other places, it would have been a good time nonetheless. Hope all is well and you continue to have a safe rest of the trip!

It's all go Darryl!

The Bedpan Stadium on the waterfront is the Government's choice for Stadium Aotearoa for the world cup final to be played in.

Apparently it is going to make Auckland into Labour's vision for a true international city in NZ!

It will be right next to the port and looks like a bedpan.

It will be great we will be able to kayak to games!

It'll be the end of the home of rugby in NZ though. Eden Park will be superfluous.

I imagine the last game there will be fraught with emotion and a bit tearful!
